Panhandle Area Music Teachers Association

Panhandle Branch OMTA serves Cimarron, Texas, and Beaver county in the Oklahoma Panhandle.  Members are active in both MTNA and OMTA functions. Though our membership is small, we participate locally and statewide in the OMTA District and State Achievement Auditions. Since 1970, The Panhandle Branch OMTA has sponsored and organized the annual Oklahoma Panhandle State University Piano Festival, providing a quality piano festival for students in the five states area of Oklahoma, Kansas, Texas, New Mexico, and Colorado.  

The Oklahoma Panhandle is full of music “sweeping down the plains,” and our local OMTA is there to encourage and support music education. New members are always welcome here!
