The Oklahoma Music Teachers Association (OMTA) is a part of the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA). Membership in MTNA is required in order to join OMTA.

What is the cost to join OMTA?

The Oklahoma Music Teachers Association (OMTA) is a part of the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA). Membership in MTNA is required in order to Join OMTA. OMTA dues are $40 for active MTNA members. MTNA dues are $77 for active members and $57.75 for members over 70. First-time members receive complimentary State dues for their first year. What is the deadline for joining OMTA? What do I do if I join late?

Dues for the upcoming school year should be paid between April 1st and June 30th. If joining after June 30th, you need to pay the late fee of $25 before entering students in any audition or competitions. Pay late dues here.

What opportunities does OMTA have for my students?

OMTA offers both competitive (Junior and Senior Competitions, Collegiate Competitions, and MTNA State Competitions) and non-competitive (District and State Achievement Auditions) events. The District Achievement Auditions include the opportunity for students to take a Theory Test through the well-structured OMTA Theory Program. How can I get involved in OMTA?

Attend the yearly conference, volunteer at auditions and competitions, express your interest to be on a committee, or contact an OMTA Board Member. We will always be able to find something for you to do!
